Everest High Passes Trek – 16 Days

On our first day we will pick you up from the airport and our team will give you a short introduction about our trip and after taking a rest for a while we will take our first trip flight to Lukla. After reaching Lukla,we will take a rest and prepare for our trek.

Today we will head towards Phakding situated at (2,610m).phakding is a small village in Khumbu region,lying by an Dudh Koshi river.phakding is full of sherpas people.it is an ideal village setting where the environment and scenery and lots of greenery and elevated mountains.Phakding is also known as the most beautiful area, being very close to the mountains. On the way to Phakding you get to see several guest houses, a small school, several monasteries, tea houses and numerous colorful mani walls. Lukla is a town filled with life that mainly serves tourists and mountaineers from different parts of the world who are going to the Everest range. Despite its small size, it is noisy and extremely appealing.A small Buddhist monastery located near the village center is a place that offers a quiet and peaceful environment for relaxation and rest. An ideal destination to boost your spirituality you should visit is the owner Land of the Sherpa culture.

Today we will be trekking to Namche Bazaar. It is situated (3,440m) (11,268ft) at its low point on the sides of the hill. And after reaching there we will be acclimatizing at Namche. Namche is the main trading center and hub for the Khumbu region.it is very popular for altitude acclimatization, and it's the gateway to the high himalaya. There are many restaurants, little cafes and there is also an irish pub, said to be the highest and most remote irish pub in the pub.

On the Everest Base Camp journey, acclimatization is an essential phase to avoid altitude sickness. The fourth day is a nice break when you will stay in Namche Bazaar and give your body a chance to get used to the higher altitude before the trek continues. If you have slept well in Namche, you can take your time having a nice breakfast. After breakfast, spend the morning experiencing the atmosphere among the shops, cafes, and bakeries in the town. The center is full of life, and the area around it is quite interesting, thus, you are guaranteed to have an enjoyable walk. Optional Short Hike for Acclimatization: Hike to Everest View Hotel (3,880m): From Namche, this is an easy but rewarding trek to do. The round trip takes about 2-3 hours and promises you breathtaking views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and more. Many good pictures and the beauty of the mountains can be seen at the Everest View Hotel. Alternative Hike to Khumjung (3,790m): For your interest in the local Sherpa culture, you might want to hike to the village of Khumjung. It is an hour long walk from Namche to there. People in Khumjung live very simple lives and some of them still follow the old tradition of not using modern equipment despite the development that has happened elsewhere. At the Khumjung Monastery, you'll learn more about the sherpas and their unique culture. You can also see a Yeti scalp, which is said to be still alive by some people. Explore Namche Bazaar: For those of you who want to stay around Namche, the Sherpa Culture Museum would be an interesting place to visit. The museum provides a lot of information about the Sherpas, who are the native people of the Everest region. The market of Namche is quite vibrant and unique. Every Saturday, the people from nearby villages as far as ten to fifteen kilometers visit the market. The market has everything that is needed by the locals; all the daily stuff, vegetables, meat along with clothes and electronics. Do not forget to keep drinking water for better hydration. If you need to, you may also have a hot drink or get a bite at any of the cafes. There are many hot and cold beverages available in these teahouses, along with a wide variety of meals/ snacks to satisfy different kinds of craves.

The journey from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche is a stand-out on the trek to Everest Base Camp, and it is really wonderful with panoramic views, you go up and down and you can stop and look in at the monastery. Tengboche is located at an elevation of 3,867 meters (12,687 feet) and has a spiritual character and panoramic vistas. We will Enjoy beautiful Ama Dablam, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Thamserku through the whole walk.The temperature at Tengboche can drop significantly in the evenings, so dress in layers. Tengboche has a few tea houses where you can find basic lodging and meals. On arrival at Tengboche, one should take into account a brief walk to the oblique spots for the sunset and sunrise. The walk from Tengboche (3,860 m / 12,664 ft) to Dingboche (4,410 m / 14,469 ft) is a beautiful and gradual uphill climb that takes you further into the high-altitude landscapes of the Everest region. This day is an important moment of acclimatization and for better preparation for much higher altitudes. Dingboche is the location of the trek where the difficult part begins as the altitudes become higher and the terrains become more difficult. It is a short but very attractive part of the trek, where people will enjoy the breathtaking view and learn about the culture. In case we can't adjust quickly, we will stay in Dingboche for an extra day. We may opt for a less challenging option and enjoy a trip to Nagarjun Hill (5,100 m) with the breathtaking views of Everest, Makalu, and the Dudh Kosi valley stretching. It is extremely important to have an acclimatization day in Dingboche to get our body adjusted to higher altitudes as we move on climbing to Everest Base Camp, the Three Passes, or other challenging Himalayan treks. This day involves our body getting used to lower oxygen levels hence less likely for Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) to develop.Resting allows our body to adjust to the altitude.We will Spend time at our teahouse, enjoying warm meals and hydrating with plenty of water or tea. Once Dingboche has become our home base, we will start feeling more comfortable with the next part of the trek, which is usually the day of resting or free exploration of the Khumbu Glacier region. The conditions in Dingboche will be the beginning of our recovery process, which we signify with some kind of relaxation, yet it may even get quite exciting when we can sense the constant progress and feel the relief by not rushing the acclimatization process. What is achieved in this leg is two different things: the first one, walking early in the morning to approach Kala Patthar, the very tip of the mountain, and the other one, climbing down the hill to the nice Dzongla village. It is a day full of incredible landscapes, physical activities and a change from the high-altitude boldness to a calm, green landscape. The path to Kala Patthar is steep and rocky, with loose gravel in some sections. The climb is physically demanding due to the thin air at this altitude.The hike typically begins before sunrise to witness the golden hues of dawn lighting up Mount Everest.A headlamp is essential for navigating the dark trail.Mount Everest,Nuptse, Lhotse, and Pumori viewpoints are majestic yet obstructed by their mutual presence with Kala Patthar. Named after a black rock, the golden color of the rocks will catch your eye during sunrise and will be completely mesmerizing, like a dream come true.An incredible dawn, lighting Mount Everest with dazzling rays in golden color, making the photography unforgettable.The top is distinguished by cairns as well as swaying prayer flags. After taking in the views and photos, descend carefully back to Gorak Shep for breakfast and rest.The hike starts by going from Gorak Shep downwards, and part of the course will be covered twice before the point where you decide the direction of reaching Dzongla. Cho La Pass is the most arduous and also the happiest day of the Everest 3 Pass Trek when on the way from Dzongla toThagnak via Cho La Pass. Cho La Pass, which has an altitude of 5420 m, bridges two valleys Gokyo Valley and Khumbu Valley and its combination with the switchbacks and the broad dimensions of the glaciers is more than exhilarating.The enchanting settlement of Thagnak lies peacefully beneath the overreaching peaks.The simple teahouses are well-equipped to be a nice and comfy place to be able to rest and enjoy.The path begins gently uphill, going through grassy surfaces and rocky tracks. Renjo La Pass is a gateway between the Gokyo Valley and the Thame Valley, a yokel and rustic living where the transportation style is not so evergreen. Today is The final stage of the Everest High Passes Trek is the return to Lukla, which means trekkers part from the splendid Khumbu area.
